Having issues with newborn gosling!!

But this is the leg I’m concerned about. It looks kind of deformed.

I was thinking it is a possibility... but if it is a slipped tendon it seems pretty severe. I can’t straighten the leg out really at all.

Only thing I can rec is a vet look at it but an avian vet would be the best option for actually trying to fix it. Or it will just live with 1 leg that works and they can adapt. Such a precious little one.

Okay thank you. I have an appointment with an exotic vet tomorrow. Thank you so much for your help!!! And you’re right!! (S)he is precious <3

Yes... I took him to the vet. Yes, we found out it is a him. He stayed there for awhile. The vet called us and told us that not just one, but both of its legs are completely deformed. There was nothing else she could do for him. He would've lived a life of pain and infection and he never would've been able to walk, swim, run, fly, etc. So my family and I made the hard decision to euthanize him. We are all very heartbroken right now... We will miss Pip very dearly. Thank you so much for all of your help and support. But he will be walking with God with two beautiful, perfect legs in heaven now.
