What does everyone think??? I see a small circle with a lighter hole in the center, but it is not quite a bullseye...so I'm undecided.

Thanks!

Ok, cool...thanks! So, if it is any ring type at all instead of just a dot, it is fertile? I wasn't sure because it wasn't exactly a bullseye.

Thanks again!

LOL...the reason I wanted to know is to see if the roo has been doing his job or not. The girls just started laying, so obviously he is.

One fertile egg means more to come...

That egg does not look fertile to me, even though the spot is large it is far too ill defined in my opinion the circle should be alot smoother than that with no uneven edges, if they have just started to lay it sometimes takes time for the eggs to become fertile that's why they say never set the first few eggs

I know the same was true for my quail even though the male was always active with them, as soon as they came into lay the first week or so all the eggs were not fertile and I couldn't understand why

but soon enough every egg was so I am sure yours will be too and then the difference will be obvious
