having trouble incubating please help

Hi I am new to incubating, i tried two separate batches, nothing hatched both times. I purchased an incubator from a lady who said it was her husbands hobby until he passed away, it is from 1953, it is an upright unit that holds up to 1200 eggs, i tried 9 the first time and 7 the next. I followed all of the instructions that came with the machine, something is wrong and i still do not know what. If anyone can help with suggestions please do!!! I am really enjoying my birds and i would like to hatch a few dozen. The incubator is called Favorite incubator from Leahy Manufacturing.

Well, what are you keeping your temp and humidity at? Is it a redwood incubator?
