I'm glad he is doing better! Our Amelia survived a hawk attack--we know how scary it can be.

On another note, don't trust your average staple gun to secure chicken wire or hardware cloth. You need to use nails or staple and then screw batons securely over the edges. Many predators can pull out staples no problem.
