Hawk - bought to lose my patience

I live in MO, and in this part of the country, a chicken hawk (red tail, etc) will take a chicken every chance they get. It isn't an unusual occurance here. That is why they call them "chicken hawks".

Well even after covering almost all of the pen with netting last weekend, i come home yesterday and there is another one of the chicks gone. The problem is that i can only watch for him on the weekends now because it's dark when i get home.

I don't think anyone advised just to SS, it was always to SSS. (And I always advise against it!)
