Hawk Deterrence

Did you silver bird netting hold up?? You strung it along your outside perimenter of run, I thought I would get some for my outdoor run, quite a few hawks here, in Northern Calif
BTW your chicken coops is awesome, my husband is building one now, Your metal shed w/ the front brick work is amazing

Just in case I did not reach you, sorry for late reply. Have been away from this site for months and months. Silver streamers were a bust. 2 x 2 netting was a success. Is though stuff too, Cannot rip it. Seems to be consistency of 1/16" nylon, but is black . No idea how long until UV degrades it. But sure keeps them out. Seems to allow leaves in too. That is good because Ihave two young oaks around 12" diameter trunk growing in the run. Am hoping leaves do not become an issue. I have propped it up in two places via long pr treated poles with small pieces of OSB nailed to tops to spread out the force on the netting. I left the silver streamers in place and use intersections of those to place my props/tent poles. Seems to work well.
