Hawk-like beak deformity in americauna hen

Recently i bought 5 eight month old americauna hens at my local chicken swap. Upon bringing them home i noticed that one of them had a crossed lower beak and a very curved upper beak.

(Sorry for the junky picture. I had to use my phone and the camera on it absolutely sucks in the dark. Lol.)

It doesn't seem to affect her eating or drinking too badly but she can't forage with her buddies. It also looks pretty painful.

Ive never had this problem before so any suggestions would be awesome. I'll try to get a better pic up when i can.

You can trim her beak with a pair of dog toe nail clippers. This will facilitate her ability to eat. Provide feed in a deep feeder so that she can eat more readily.

Thanks for the help. Where does the meaty inside start? Id hate to hurt her, shes such a sweet hen.

If you look closely you can generally see the quick - with a bird it is easier seen on the inner part of the beak. Trim back gradually and stop short of the quick. If you happen to nick the quick a little silver nitrate will stop the bleeding.
