Thanks everyone for your help! I really appreciate it! I'll put out some more bushes, and see if I can get some of those fancy hawk repellent things, and I'll let you all know how it plays out!

Your money will be best spent on some covering of your chicken run, whether netting or hardware cloth.

Do not shoot at them as they are a protected species and you might get in serious trouble.

As hawks are often migrating in fall, new hawks will appear all the time, no matter what you try to deter them.

No, I cannot relocate the hawk, I don't have it, and they fly, so there's no way to keep them in one place.

My run is 100% covered, this happened when they were free ranging. There's now way I can cover 3 acers with net lol.

That is true, so every time you free range them the risk will persist.

Take good care of your rooster, he is worth his weight in gold!
