He works quite well. A hawk swooped down once to grab him and failed. He never came back. I guess he realized he was made of clay

Nothing is going to beat a roof, but I am becoming more convinced that a few black chickens, or better yet black turkeys will deter them. The whole look like crows to the hawk thing. Scientifically proven..nah
