This is our girl Hawk, this is her 4th egg she has laid. She laid 2 of them her first lay on Friday the 24th. Both had very soft shells and they stepped on them (pictured) the other picture is of the one she laid at about noon today. So far her schedule has been am egg every other day. 2 Friday, 1 Sunday and 1 today.

Sorry about the eggs that got stepped on but congrats on the other perfect looking eggs!!!! She looks just like my hen

Thank you! I think it is so funny how one can get so excited over a chicken laying an egg. My other two hens should be laying anytime now. Waiting excitedly like a kid on Christmas Eve.

I know right!!!! When my chickens were about to lay, I think i checked the nesting boxes 10 times a day

And when they finally came i felt like my world was complete!!!!!!
