Hay happy first week of summer

Well to start hi, my first thread, and our first Monday of school being out, and this morning our first egg, not sure which chicken laid the egg we have 11 that should have started laying around this week. I have heard a rumor that you shouldn't eat the first egg, that's gonna be a little hard to track with ten more should starting laying very soon.

Glad you could join the flock! Congratulations on your first egg, how exciting I can remember my first egg in the nest box it was like I had found treasure!!

No reason why you should not eat the first eggs, they are just as delicious as any other egg. Don't let it go to waste. Maybe it was incubating first eggs you heard about? It is reccomended that you don't incubate first eggs.

Hope you have lots more eggs soon.

. There is no reason you can't eat them. Sometimes they start with very small eggs and take a while to work up to full potential.
