Hay & Toilet paper safe for buttons?

I was wondering because I've got a lot of hay. And with the toilet paper, I give some to my hamsters for their nests (its completely safe for hamsters) so I thought my button quail would like some to snuggle in too, especially since its been cold lately (they're housed inside though so they don't get that cold).

THATS funny I was thinking that you were asking if it was ok to use toilet paper to hold the eggs in a standard size egg carton (that is what I do because I cant find and button egg cartons to ship in) I wap the eggs in the TP and them put it in the carton and shippy shippy!!! I wouldnt see why it would be bad for nesting for them.... its just ground up wood....

Hay, no problem at all - just keep from molding. TP - perfectly fine as long it isn't the type that has lotion in it.
