This is Hazel, my EE hen that just hatched out 2 barred rock chicks and I added 4 more I had incubated (3 BR's & 1 RIR)

She's having a blast playing Momma!

Those accidental crosses sure turned out beautiful...it's so neat to see daughters of my old roosters running around!

Hazel doesn't appear to have lost weight while broody, shes the same now as she was before she started sitting.
Of course I gave her tons of treats while she was sitting, and she only had to leave the nest to poop.
