I used oilcloth (like for kitchen tables) on my coop floor, and it has held up great. It's sold by the yard on Amazon (or at fabric stores or online fabric sellers) and is not expensive. It's waterproof and sturdy, so the chickens can't rip it up, it doesn't crack in cold weather, etc. Cleanup is a breeze, I just sweep the old bedding up with a push broom (kids' toy broom, because the small size is more convenient inside the coop) twice a year and add new bedding. What did you end up doing? I'm doing the same right now. I want to use the same stuff CarolinaCoops uses but can't find it locally. Last time we used FRP and it did work well as far as not letting any moisture get to the floor or walls but it didn't look as nice as HDPE would have. We are renovating our coop right now and I'd really love to upgrade to HDPE.
