He Crowed!!!

I have to tell someone, my rooster crowed for the first time today YAY!!! At first I didn't know what in the world that strange noise was, and the other chics ran into the house like they were scared. Then it kept happening and I finally figured out after the 3rd time, that he was trying to crow. How funny!

congats I just love to hear them learning to crow. we have roughly 32 roos here that start about 430 am practicing, lol, DD swears they are screaming "cut our heads off" since they are closest to her bedroom window.

My big boy was 9 weeks when he started using his voice. He doesn't do it until around 9:30am, maybe he's confused about when to do it. Or he can just keep it at 9:30 I really don't mind.

He is a Delaware and that BR I was told was a Dominique but then someone said the legs should be yellow and hers are olive, maybe she's a mix. But I love her either way.
