Enjoy the sound! It really makes a farm, sound like a farm, (to me) when the roosters are crowing!

Woo hoo! [IMG] Congratulations to you and Don. It's amazing how proud that can make you! I just love hearing my rooster crow. Enjoy!

it was a real crow but maybe half as loud as I remember a rooster being and with fewer notes if you know what i mean. I just had a talk with him last week because of the 3 hes the smallest but my favorite and the friendliest.

[IMG] Congrats, if that's what you want. (I wish mine didn't crow so I could keep him. [IMG])

My sweet little SLW has been crowing for a couple of weeks now and he still sounds like he inhales helium first. [IMG] Maybe, just maybe, his crow will stay like that... then I could keep him! [IMG] (Doubtful)

    [IMG] Congratulations
Our roo started out with a few feeble crows around 16 weeks, now he crows at EVERYTHING, ALL the time [IMG] I wish he'd settle down, but I think maybe the fact that the girls are starting to lay has him a bit on edge...he finds and tests out a nest box for each girl as she is ready to start laying.
