If it makes you feel any better, if you have fertile quail eggs, then they are much, much easier to hatch than chicken eggs. Even if you DO everything wrong. So don't be too offended

I am kind of new to hatching, but I have always been told to keep the humidity around 65% until the third to last day before hatching then increase to 80%. It has always worked well for me. Plus if you have a still air incubator keep the temp at 102. I always have at least a 90% hatch rate and that's without a turner and styro incubators. Another thing is, if the shells are to thick, expecially with ducks, turkeys, guineas, and even some chicken eggs, try and spray them with a water bottle on day 18. it seems to help.
