He finally crowed *added video in thread

Oh i can't describe how happy I am my rooster finally crowed this morning. He's about 23-24 weeks my lavender orpington cockerel and just finally let out his first crows. I immediately took a video and sent it to my husband then showed all my kids. I'm so happy

I'm still amazed that it turned out to be a cockerel. I would've sworn it was a pullet until the last few pictures you put in the other post. Must be a very slow maturing breed.

Hoping I added the link right... just uploaded it to YouTube. It's like the worst video in the world but he has a good voice already. There are 2 crows on the recording one right at the start and a second at the end
