Im a new chicken owner who cares very much about what I own and care for, but my arm is being twisted now, when I got my chickens I got three hens two of which died and I got 3 more all supposed to be hens but one wasn't, he was a rooster a white grey americauna/easter egger (don't know exactly which) rooster but me living a city I can't have him anymore so I'm looking for someone who might be able to take him off my hands and into another that will give him the life that he deserves, a good one. I live in Washington state, everett

I'm sorry, there is such a glut of roosters looking for new homes - I can't even think of any advice to give you.

There is a buy sell trade forum on this site. You could start a thread in the 8 weeks or older birds to give away and then try posting in an existing thread for your state of Washington which is in the new members threads. Search "Washington" and find the thread.

Then there is always posting on your local craigslist. The reality is unless someone want an Easter Egger flock he'd be going to stew. And that is not a bad place to be. Warming and feeding bellies is a good purpose for livestock.

Is it illegal in your city? You could try a no crow collar.
