I love my Easter Egger hen, Fig, because she is my friendliest and most curious. She has been like that from day 1. She wanted to be in my lap as soon as she could fly up out of the brooder. She even sits near the edge of the run when I am just outside it as if to say, "Hey! Come sit here instead!"
For sheer beauty, I love my Buff Brahma hen, Butters. She looks like a big fluffy bowl of butterscotch pudding to me.
And of course, I love my Lavender Silkie hen, Eleanor. Watching that little ball of fluff walk around amongst the bigger girls just makes me smile.
