He young can a hen go broody?

I have a 9 or 10 week old Welsumer that won't come out of the corner of the coop. Havnt seen her eat today, forced her to take water and she voluntarily ate grit. She just wants to lay in the corner. Any ideas?

I don't think that they can go broody until they start to lay eggs. I think she might just be sick and you might want to take her to an avian vet. I could be wrong though.
