Head Bobbing?

why do they do it in a bachelor herd with no females around? Well, except for me, but I am fairly sure they consider me the alpha male duck-person

Uhm, I have an all-girl group, but I think that ducks, well, they seem uninhibited about their feelings, whether there is a member of the opposite sex there or not.

My ducks do the head bobbing as a greeting...espescially in the morning.
My Campbell won't go anywhere near her breakfast until all the chickens have come out of their coup and she's made a right rackets saying good morning to each one individually...combined with a laughing quak, "huh-huh-huh-huh".
All my critters are female.

The Campbell also does it when you say "Do you want a stroke?" and she comes running over head bobbing and laughing then nibbles your shoe laces until you stroke her.
