How much space should I leave btwn the top of the coop and the roost for RIR?

Hi Patoot, How tall is your coop? How will the birds get to the roost? It's also important that there is good ventilation above the level of the roost. All things being equal, I wouldn't want it closer than 2' from the ceiling.
