Ok...my first go 'round with a roo.
Got a 15 week Barred Rock rooster that is turning into quit a handful.
He's not mean to me, he'll eat outta my hand (feels like he's taking some skin) but he does.
Problem is this, he is a real ***** to my hens, he'll blow them off food, run them down and pin them down. Pretty much block them from coming to me (which I hear that's common) but he's turning into quit the idiot. Is this just a sign of bad things to come or is this just what roosters do?
Can I break him or should I just turn him into chicken & dumplings?
