She has feathers down the outside of her legs.Does the black one have feathered feet? Could it be a Marans or Langshan? The grey one does look like an EE pullet as the others said!
What are saddle feathers?Saddle feathers indicate female
Saddle feathers are at the base of a chicken's tail. Males have long pointy ones and female have short rounded ones. What are saddle feathers?

If you got her from a feed store, she might be a midnight Majesty MaransShe has feathers down the outside of her legs
The hatcheries were pretty much sold out of everything very early spring this year so I had to get my chicks from backyard breeders. If you got her from a feed store, she might be a midnight Majesty Marans

Does your black one have any Brahma or Cochin in her? Here is a picture of my Brochin BantamI purchased 4 day old chicks in May that were supposed to be EE but turned out they were not. I have no idea what they are. Two have since proven to be cockerels. They are now 14 weeks old. I am hoping the last 2 are pullets. The black one has me confused. It has very little comb or wattle compared to the cockerels but then she(he) sprouted a long tail feather. The grey bird I am pretty sure is a pullet, please tell me I am right.
Here are the pictures of the black chick.

x2 My EE has a very strange tail. They look like pullets. EEs can have really wonky tails.
