Hi there, I know this has been addressed, but I can't find the specific post. I just picked up a trio of Buff Brahma last sunday and the Roo seems to be shaking his head a bit. There was something in the post about ear mites, could this be it? Or, something else? Should I just keep my eye on him for now? The girls don't seem to be doing it, just the Roo. I don't relish having to tackle him and fix him as he's huge, but I will do what I have to. (This guys about 2 ft tall, which I think is normal for a brahma, I've just never had one before.) I have contacted the previous owner to see if he noticed anything about him either.

Thanks! Good, at least it's nothing bad then! Unless he decides he's going to try to attack me-then, he will go in the soup pot. I won't put up with a nasty roo. But, I'd like to get some eggs at least first for hatching out! I just don't know if he is 'performing' or not yet! The girls aren't especially broody, but it's early days yet as well.
