.... They aren't laying eggs (5 months old) and I don't know when they will start so that's not a problem at the moment. Do I get that dewormer at a regular feed store?

That is great. They will likely not start laying before 6 or 7 months of age so if you act quickly you won't even need to discard any eggs.

I didn't really see any real head shaking either. Birds movements are jerky, kind of twitchy. They move their heads a lot to point their eyes to where they want to see.
Maybe look them over closely for mites or lice, but I wouldn't medicate or treat unless you're sure there's a pest to be treated for.
