This isn't urgent, but I would like some feedback if possible. What do wounds on the comb and wattle look like once they start to heal? Both my hens and roos have scabs that have sort of a white area around the scab area. I thought initially this was fowl pox, but it really doesn't look like any of the pictures I have seen. It seems to be that way when ever they get a wound or booboo on red part of the body. If anyone knows what I am talking about please help me identify this. I'm hoping one of the long time chicken keepers will have some insight. Thanks in advance.

Pox often starts as "blisters" and slowly darken to black and scabbing... are you sure it is not pox?
Please post a pic

No I am not absolutely sure, these are some pictures if you wouldn't mind looking.

There has been a lot of pecking going on, so I feel pretty sure that he has gotten pecked on the comb and wattles, they pretty much all have. I just want to make sure that it is injuries healing and not something else that needs medical treatment. That was why I looked into the fowl pox, because a description seemed similar but no pictures that I have seen look like it, plus this has been months since these spots have started showing up. I do know that there has been a lot of establishment of pecking order. Right now I have too many roosters but I am working on that, getting them rehomed. Thank you for taking the time to look at these pictures.
