Healing or Spreading Bumblefoot?

Recently had a chicken with a pretty bad case of Bumblefoot in both feet. After tons of research, my wife and I did a little minor surgery and removed the “corn” from the feet, applied antiseptic and antibiotic and wrapped it up. One looks great. The other is pictured here.
While the initial wound looks pretty good, there is now a very hard semi circle around the hole. I say semi but it almost encompasses the wound. Part of it is becoming discolored. Any thoughts or ideas? Do I need to remove this area too?
Any help would be appreciated!

:welcome To me it looks like drying tissue that will scab and eventually fall off. At this point I would monitor it rather than remove.
