Hi, please help. I removed bumblefoot from two feet of my chicken. Used Prid for 5 days, then epsom salt soak for 20 min and removed. The large one did not have acorn like infection attached, it was more like puss. I squeezed pretty hard and it looked like it was gone. These pics are from today - second day. She got the wound pretty dirty, so will be in a separate cage for a few days to prevent from scratching dirt. But does it look like it is healing? Also he comb from very red is turning into whitish. Is this normal? Appreciate any advise!

Comb turning white can be from stress, dehydration, circulation issues.

I don't think that looks like it's healing as it appears to be swollen and red. It should have had a hard core come out. Is that area hot to the touch?

I'd get her on vitamins. Poultry Cell, Nutra-Drench, etc., in their water is easiest.

Do you have a vet you could take her? If that's not feasible, and that swollen area is hot, then I'd soak that for 20-30 minutes in warm Epsom salt water a couple of times a day, dry and put Betadine/iodine or Vetericyn spray, then reapply your PRID and lightly bandage the foot to keep that clean. This might take a day or two to get that infection coming back out again. This one might need to be put on antibiotics too but see how this goes for a day or two.
