So this is Barbara Jean, she was scalped by the hen who hatched her for whatever reason the day after she hatched May 12th and here we are almost 2 weeks later and she's almost healed thank god because although all my feather babies are absolutely special to me she means just a bit more 🥰

That’s great news!
What a cutie! Please keep us posted on her healing progress. ❤️
Also, I love her name and it is special to me. My husband’s grandmother’s name was Barbara Jean, and she was as dear to me as my own granny.

I love that ! It was my mother's name she passed away 9 years ago and my chick hatched on her birthday so it seemed fitting 🥰

This stuff along with the other 2 topical meds have worked wonders the blue tint on her head comes from the hen healer, I start with the antiseptic scrub I clean the area well then use the Vetericyn but drip or dab it on using a soft paper towel then finish with the hen healer, I was doing all this twice a day but now am doing it once before bed time the hen healer keeps it moist although at first I had to trim the tips of her nails because she was making the area bleed but now all is healing and no bleeding 🥰
