health ? cancer treatment and being around chickens

Good advice. While there may or may not be an MD or 2 on this forum I think human health questions would be better directed elsewhere.

I am not stupid know very much needs to talk to her dr. but I was sure with all the people on this site some one has gone through cancer and had chickens and just wanted to touch bases but dont worry I will not make that mistake of asking here again.

So the Dr. did what I was worried he would do when asked about the chickens he stated he never heard that ? before and did not even know people where allowed to keep chickens in the city and he suggested I send the chickens to a farm. but thanks to Wsmith and knowing others going through this did not have to get rid of there chickens my girls will stay home with us and my mother when she is up to it and feels the need and still go out and enjoy feeding them or set there watching them. I will just make sure to clean up there poo more then once a day and also when she want to go out with them some one will go out ahead of her and clean up. she is having masectomy tommorw and dont really see her going out with out a shirt on so her would should not come in contact with the chicknens.
