I'm trying to raise my hens as naturally as possible without them eating any "junk" feeds. I've been using the Agway Chick starter/grower as I am a novice and not totally aware of what is out there. However, I would prefer to use a feed that is not genetically modified or with added hormones. I feel like that is defeating the whole purpose of my raising chickens to have my own healthy eggs. Does anyone know if Agway's chick starter is good or not? If not, do you have a recommendation of a reasonably priced "natural" chick feed?
