I have had a roo for about 7 months now and just recently his tail feathers are not looking well. They look matted and oily. I assume that I am missing something in his diet. He eats the layer feed with cracked corn and 9 seed feed. Everyone else looks good. I do have another roo who lost his big tail feathers but I attributed that to his being 4 months old.
