I've never had all three hen using all three nest boxes at one time. I know this because I typically collect their eggs all from the same nest each day. Maybe two eggs in one and a single egg in one.
But I just thought they were all so cute looking each in their own nest box. And quiet. My girls are a bossy bunch but they are so quiet and docile when they are "working".

Almost looks like your run of the mill office space. Small but efficient.

Yea, it is small. I feel badly for my Jersey Giant. She barely fits into the nest box and the ends of her tail feathers are always a bit tattered after she lays an egg. I thought about taking out one of the dividers and making one super big nest box. But they seem to like the small, safe space.
