I know it HOT everywhere hitting 100+ here in MIssissippi for days. My question is does this cause a decrease in egglaying? Have been getting a few but not like before. Just wondering if anyone else seeing this?

Yep, things slack off during the hot spells. Seems like panting to stay cool is enough stress for the day. It will pick up again when the weather is more cooler, even a better humidity helps alot.

Ditto. All of mine are either on strike or broody.

Me too. No eggs for three days now. One hen gone broody on me (I didn't realize they would do that with no eggs until now). One good layer got eaten by a critter this week, the rest aren't doing anything.

Mine to. Out of 5 only getting 2 eggs a day, good question, I was also going to ask it then I saw yours. Thanks for asking.
