heat bulb and reg. bulb

im in orlando fla. i have week old cornish rocks hybirds i used the hot heat lamp at night now and white light during day because my garage gets warm during the day.. being doing this for 2 days they seem find let me know what you guys think....im a newbie to this..thanks

If they are piled up under the light and peeping loudly, they are cold. If they are as far from the light as possible, they are too hot and if they are scattered around the brooder they are fine with the temp.
