With that size, you can probably just put a tarp over half of it, hang the heatlamp inside, and put the chicks out as soon as the tractor is done. If the heatlamp is at the most enclosed end, they will have a nice warm area, and lots of cooler space to play. When they start sleeping far away from the heatlamp, you will know they don't need it any more.
