Heat lamp, when do my chicks not need this?

We keep ours under heat for the first month or so , but in South Texas we could probably get away with even less time. It will depend on your local climate , but you should be good by 8/9 weeks.

Thank you! I removed the heat source that was only on at night. They are doing well.
