Heat waves

i just bought some chickens from an auction 3 days ago and it's been near 100 degrees all 3 days and they haven't laid any eggs and that's why I bought them, so I was wondering if the heat would be the problem or if they have to get settled into their new home?

Like any animal they must get used to the place before eggs come. also the heat can factor in. I have seen folks get chickens and they do not lay for weeks until settling in. try some goodies, watermellon, blue berries treats to make them happy and cool them down.
