Hi, I saw a few threads here about making an incubator from a heating pad. I am interested I. hatching some quail chicks using this method. However, I am concerned that the heating pad turned on 24/7 is a fire hazard? Had anyone has had experience with using a heating pad for days on end without turning it off? like a MHP or incubator heating pad etc.

I can not speak about all heating pads.

Yes, I frequently used heating pads for many weeks at a time without them being shut off. I used to raise, hand feed, and sell hookbills/parrot species.

Oh, okay. Thank you for the reply! What kind of heating pad do you use? Online I can only find ones with 3 settings; off, low, and high is my guess.
