I actually feel really stupid. When we lounge in our 2-seat hottub and watch the birds, we're always talking about how big Marylou is, how fiesty she is, how long her neck feathers are, my what big sexy yellow legs she has, and oh look at those pretty long tail feathers!

We never even suspected she was a he until we heard definite crowing yesterday. Her namesake, my mom, says she knew it ws a roo. I recall her mentioning it but I thought she meant our barred rock who has a large comb (hen).
