Today's Chicks hatched from that cross..
 
Your chicks are really cute. So you have also an Orpington roo in your flock?
That make sense, you can work on this breed and also have purebred chicks :)
 
as to the original post, some hens have more fragile feathers. Bare back chickens bother people more than they do chickens. Watch her, is she distressed or frightened around the rooster, is she hiding? If not, no real need to worry about it.

They will molt in a couple months, and they will all look like that! Then they grow new feathers and look grand!

Well, they are not distressed or frightened around the rooster fortunately. Then I hope they'll molt soon :lol:
