The next time Hector comes running up to me in that stance when he has too much energy, I may try this. He'll get what Ladyhawk and I refer to as "Rufus Eyes", LOL (long story, my Belgian D'anver rooster, Rufus, that I gave to her and she gave to a breeder friend years later, has bug eyes when he sees something he can't comprehend). Now, that's a gigolo!

Deacon used to love to be hugged, would literally beg for it. I sure miss that goober.

Hector dustbathing with Jill and Rowena. Jill is bald and needs a saddle while Ro is pristine perfect. Makes me wonder if her eggs are even fertile. And Thea is in the last two pictures. Hector got scraped up when Atlas decided to try to fight with him over the half wall. Can't yell at Hector who was in his pen. Atlas was the bad one this time.

That's poor Jill, all right. I'm not sure he likes Ro all that much, but he won't go into his pen until she's there and accounted for. He's like that. At least I know Hector can count to three!

Since Hector is a daddy, with Jill as the mama, I suppose his kids belong on his thread. I need a better one of the cockerel, though.

That Hector...SMH. He runs up to me and the camera like he's going to attack it, just like my Belgian D'Anver does. I fussed him out all over the yard for that. But, look at that boy's face! He looks so darn healthy!
And have you noticed that you can click on the full size pics and make them even bigger? So cool! Do that and look into his eyes, LOL.

The girls are gorgeous too. I see other people's pictures of hatchery/feed store BR and the look and barring of yours in comparison is amazing.
