Hedgehog?

Just make sure the house is nice and warm while he's out because if he's too cold he won't come out to drink water. We used to let our run freely around the house with our cats, so I wouldn't worry about that! Just lure him out with treats and water!

Hedgehogs are great pets, but after owning one I found out that I'm allergic to them. So now I can't have one

so I have rats instead!

Whew! That which was lost has been found! I had to go to town today so I turned up the heat and made myself a 'hedgehog catcher' in the middle of the living room. Sadly, when we got home there was no hedgehog. But then my faithful Marilyn dog took me by the hand and led me down to the basement and found him under the stairs. I have no idea how the little thing managed that trip but he seems in fine shape. Funny, he came to the coldest part of the house!

My Matt said, 'Mom, I know why we found it." I said 'Why?" and he said, "Because I prayed..."

His eye is on the hedgehog...lol!

Soooooo glad you found the little guy! We babysat my daughter's classroom pet over the weekend...Sonic the Hedgehog. We just loved him...now I'm sure I'll be pestered to death until we get a Hedgehog of our own...LOL.

This isn true with a lot of species. If an animal is solitary in the wild and only meeting up for umm...romance. Then in captivity they as well would prefer to be by themselves.

I had a hedgehog for 8 years and absolutely loved him. He was a wonderful little pet! Easy to clean and care for, quiet...not much of a cuddler, but a lot of fun. Mine ate cat food with treats of worms now and then.
