Yes, I know the guy, I can't think of his name right now but I know how to get a hold of him. I had new birds hatch here last year, the Arucanas usually raise a few every season unvaccinated. Do ducks get Mareks? Everybody healthy except those particular birds all received at the same time.

I think if your hens hatch some chicks and they show paralysis prior to 12 weeks old , it would seem like Marek's.

I was able to trace back to a hen I brought home 6 weeks prior to my first poor victim. She didn't succumb to it for over a year. Prior to that, I had hatched chicks and never lost one. So I know who brought it in. And she was from a breeder.

Is there any way you can think back to a chicken you may have gotten 6-12 weeks prior to your first victim? Ducks do not get the Marek's that chickens carry.

I know that Texas A&M can test blood for Marek's and your vet can draw that blood for you.
