Hi, again. Another post about the duckling I asked about earlier. We're giving her and the other ducks the vitamins in the water. It's really hard for me to try and get her to open her beak with just myself, since my mother injured herself.

Anyway, I was asking if she might be blind. And when I let them out yesterday, she got left behind in the pen. So I picked her up to carry her to the front so I could clean their pen out and put down fresh bedding. And I noticed that it seemed like her pupils didn't dilate when I took her out to the front yard, into the sun and then the shade again. Would this mean it's probably neurological and the vitamin won't do anything? Not that I mind continuing to give it to her and the others until it's gone, since they could probably use it.

Here's a horrible picture of my sweaty, grimy self with Hellen, if that helps at all.

I'm putting Nutri Drench in their water and I've switched them over to Game Bird feed. There are 9 Khaki Campbell ducklings, including Hellen. There's an Indian Runner duckling a couple months older than them, and 1 adult Khaki Campbell together in the pen.

Hellen has been stumbling into things since she arrived in her box, with the other Khaki Campbells, on July 7 of this year. We just figured it was because she was the runt, at the time. But when we moved them to a pen in my mom's back yard, I noticed her running into trees and tripping over things. I thought then that it might be the new environment, but watching her standing around, calling for the flock to see where they were and still tripping over things in direct sunlight, I got concerned.

I made my first post here about her last week, I believe, since just increasing the feed didn't seem to do anything. That's when it was recommended that we give her Nutri Drench. I got the game bird food that same day and we've been giving it to the ducks since then.
