I just want to introduce myself to everyone; my name is Joy Howell. A year ago I decided to homeschool my son. I have been a Bank loan officer for many years and then I changed and became a school teacher to spend more time with my children. The main reason I wanted to join this group is I started raising chickens along side of me homeschooling my son. Many of you that have been in the field of raising chickens and ducks helped me so much on my first set of babies; to the point of my babies becoming mothers to 14 beautiful chicks and 1 duck. Attached pictures is my very first set of baby chicks and 2 ducks back in March 2019. I just wanted to say thank you for all the wise information on How to raise chickens and ducks.

Hi Joy! This is a great group with a lot of combined knowledge! My reason for raising chickens is for my grandchildren! There is so much to these lovely poultry buddies that most people have no knowledge or or appreciate! Good for you!
