Welcome to BYC.
Where did you get the black Marans from? I've only seen them in France.

These were purchased at our local feed and seed and they had got them from Mt. Healthy Hatcheries. At least, that's the catalog he was showing me, in store, when telling me about the different chicks. They were listed as being sex links so though so maybe not "real" black marans but a hybrid? This is a better shot of Pepper, our new momma, without her chicks pictured.
