I had chickens as a child, and looking forward to my kids getting to experience the same. We have 7 chicks- 6 from a hatchery and 1 purchased locally. Fingers crossed our lavender doesn’t turn out to be a roo 😬

2 easter eggers (Bunny and Hei Hei)
2 speckled sussex (Freckles and Cupcake)
2 barred rock (Barb Rock and Checkers)
1 lavender Orpington (Moon Pie)

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Are your coop and run built? If so, you'll be able to get them out of that small brooder and into larger accommodations in the coop.
Being built now! It’s still dipping into the 40-50’s at night so I think they’ll have to stay in for awhile. We have a bigger box coming from the grocery store, they’re growing fast and we were only supposed to have 4!
