I had chickens as a child, and looking forward to my kids getting to experience the same. We have 7 chicks- 6 from a hatchery and 1 purchased locally. Fingers crossed our lavender doesn’t turn out to be a roo

2 easter eggers (Bunny and Hei Hei)
2 speckled sussex (Freckles and Cupcake)
2 barred rock (Barb Rock and Checkers)
1 lavender Orpington (Moon Pie)

Being built now! It’s still dipping into the 40-50’s at night so I think they’ll have to stay in for awhile. We have a bigger box coming from the grocery store, they’re growing fast and we were only supposed to have 4!
